Wild Dolphin Ecotour
Journey through the bay aboard The Florida Aquarium's Bay Spirit, a 49-foot powered catamaran, educating guests on the awesome animals that thrive in these local waters. The only requirement is a sense of adventure. A good pair of binoculars is optional. The daily Ecotours are 90-minutes long and leave the Aquarium at 2 and 4 p.m. (weather permitting). Cost is $19.95 for adults and $14.95 for children between the ages of 3 and 11. Seniors 60 and up are $18.95 and children 2 and under are free. No reservations. Dive with the Sharks
At The Florida Aquarium guests can Dive with the Sharks in a unique opportunity for certified SCUBA divers, age 15 and older, to come face-to-face with live sharks! Splashing down in Shark Bay is the perfect dive; warm clear water, teaming with sharks from around the world and no boat ride! We provide the sharks and all of your gear for this experience of a lifetime. Offered daily, call for reservations. Swim with the Fishes
Swim with the Fishes at The Florida Aquarium, is an in-water reef adventure that gives guests the opportunity to encounter one of the Florida Keys' most beautiful coral reef dive sites without being a certified SCUBA diver. For guests 6 and older, this introduction to SCUBA diving includes a SCUBA tank, regulator and floatation device that keeps you on the surface of the 500,000-gallon Coral Reef Exhibit. Behind the Scenes: Shark Feeding
This is a formal dinner invitation requesting your culinary services for one of the most unique and exclusive dinning experiences in Tampa. Get your apron and gloves ready, as The Florida Aquarium offers guests, age 12 and older, the chance to feed live sharks in a supervised and secure environment. Tickets are $50 for members and $65 for non-members. Pricing includes the 2-hour program and a decorative apron commemorating the event that says, "I fed the Sharks at The Florida Aquarium." Penguins: Backstage Pass
A new 30-minute Behind the Scenes experience giving guests the opportunity to interact with penguins in an up-close and personal setting. Led by an experienced penguin biologist, a typical visit may include a chance to touch the penguins, see them waddle, swim, shake their tails and possibly even view penguins being fed! While there, our biologist will describe these remarkable birds and their specialized care.
These South African Birds live in a temperate environment in their "Penguin Suite", so no coats are needed.
